- Prepared site for disassembly Received delivery of new Brush rotor on Unit 7 100 MW GE CCGT LMS1000 with MK VIe Controls.
- Disassembled to remove existing rotor Prepared cribbing and rail system for rotor extraction.
- Pulled existing rotor Set existing rotor on rotor stands.
- Removed new rotor from shipping crate and place on rails Installed new rotor.
- Reassemble Prepared old rotor for storage and shipment.
- Commissioned the new controls. Clean up site and tooling.
Testing & Commissioning OF SUBSTATIONS
Outage and connection planning Testing of breakers, disconnect switches, CT’s, PT’s, CVT’s, power transformers DC control systems and other equipment Power transformer offloading & transport/assembly & oil filling Circuit breakers and circuit switchers of all types and sizes including assembly, calibration, oil and SF6 gas filling Medium voltage switchgear installation of all types and sizes Load break and air break disconnect switches of all voltage ratings including setup and calibration Switchyard bus-work including rigid and strain bus, tubular aluminum welding and ISO-Phase Bus Current and voltage phase angle readings (between all) Complete station and equipment grounding systems including neutralizing transformers and teleline isolation Modular Protection & Control Buildings Capacitor banks and harmonic filters Perform quality reviews of engineering work for both internal assets/sub-contractors on assigned projects.
Prepare construction drawing packages.
Manage/development of project proposals, bid preparation, project schedules, bill of materials, etc. for assigned Substation projects.
Protection & Control logic functional testing and commissioning ACSC system interface testing and final sign offs Perform and direct others in the detailed redesign of high to EHV utility substations including one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, conduit and cable sizing/routing, substation physical layouts, selection of substation equipment, rewriting of substation equipment specifications, construction cost estimates, general arrangement, equipment and electrical layout, grounding, outdoor bus design, protection and controls.
Conduct internal and external client, manufacturer and contractor meetings. Relay protection, control and substation automation systems including cabling and wiring
